We set and solved the problem of the factor analysis with the application of the data on the self-animation of the effectiveness of the Penza State University management systems functioning in the field. As a result the subcriteria of the activity improvement model were attributed to enlarged factors. The example of the improvement of the university processes monitoring system revealed of the methodological advantages of the results obtained to provide making management decisions.
